Four services
Each service starts with the same fixed-price discovery. Most clients come to us for programme recovery.
Programme recovery
- Who it is for
- CFOs, CEOs and investors with an ERP, CRM, ITSM or digital programme that has stalled or failed.
- When you need it
- A go-live that failed or keeps slipping. An implementation partner the business no longer trusts. A budget that keeps moving, or a board that has stopped believing the reports.
- What we do
- We sit between the executive and the system integrator and take control of governance: the budget, the plan, the decisions and what each supplier is accountable for. We separate what is broken from what is just noisy, and the suppliers answer for their part.
- What you get
- A recovery plan the board can act on, one plan of record, a decision log and a weekly view of progress the executive can trust.
- How long it takes
- Discovery takes 2 to 4 weeks. Recovery is scoped from what discovery finds.
Acquisition and carve-out integration
- Who it is for
- PE-backed groups and the managed service providers that support them.
- When you need it
- A deal has closed and the acquired company's IT estate, systems and operating model have to move into the group. Or a carve-out has left a business with shared services to unpick.
- What we do
- We direct the integration. There is one plan of record across the group, the acquired company and the MSP. Discovery finds what the data room missed, then each workstream mobilises: network, infrastructure, Microsoft 365, applications, data and people.
- What you get
- A single integration plan, weekly status with plans on a page, a monthly steering committee and a clean handover into business as usual.
- How long it takes
- Discovery first, then mobilisation. The length depends on the size of the estate.
Transformation programme direction
- Who it is for
- Mid-market and PE-backed organisations replacing or consolidating ERP, HR and time and attendance, finance, data platform or infrastructure.
- When you need it
- Several systems have to change at once, usually during growth or after a change of ownership, and the business needs one person accountable for all of it.
- What we do
- We direct the programme end to end, from vendor selection and contract review to go-live. Change management and adoption sit in the same plan, owned by the people who own go-live.
- What you get
- A programme plan the board signs off, vendor terms reviewed before signature and a named owner for every workstream.
- How long it takes
- Usually a year or more, phased by workstream.
PMO and governance
- Who it is for
- Programmes that have the people but lack the discipline, and leaders who want a standalone PMO.
- When you need it
- The reports say green while deadlines slip. Decisions wait for meetings that don't happen, and risks live in people's heads.
- What we do
- We stand up or rebuild programme governance: RAID, decision and escalation discipline, a steering committee cadence, SLT reporting and demand forums. A project manager from our team can run it day to day.
- What you get
- A weekly PMO cycle feeding a steering committee, a decision log and reporting the SLT reads.
- How long it takes
- Running within weeks, and in place for as long as the programme needs it.
How an engagement starts
Every engagement starts with a short discovery at a fixed price. You know the cost and the end date before we begin, and you decide what happens after it.
-
Discovery
The founder oversees and a senior consultant works on the ground. You get one honest view of what is broken, what is stable and who is contractually accountable for what, with a plan the board can act on. We also deliver one or two quick wins in that time.
-
Decision gate
With that evidence you decide whether to repair, replace or restructure. You can stop here and keep the plan.
-
Delivery
A small senior team on time and materials or fixed work packages. From the first week we run a weekly operating rhythm, with named owners and a regular steering committee.
Platforms we have worked on
SAP, IFS, Infor, Salesforce, ServiceNow, UKG, Sage, Microsoft 365, Azure and Power BI.
Who we work for
PE-backed, founder-owned and regulated businesses in professional services, healthcare, distribution, security services, property, retail and the public sector.
