Work Recovery, PMO
Recovering a failed SAP go-live
A control layer between the executive and the suppliers after the implementation partner was removed.
Situation
A UK distributor's SAP go-live had failed. Integration with the legacy estate was broken, the implementation partner had been removed and the support vendor was providing second-line support only.
What we did
We built a layer of control between the executive and the suppliers: a weekly PMO feeding a Monday steering committee, RAID and escalation discipline, a decision log and reporting to the senior leadership team.
Result
The executive has one weekly view of the recovery, and every supplier commitment sits on a log the supplier is held to.
Shape of the engagement
Engaged by the CFO on the investor's recommendation. The founder on oversight, with a senior consultant running the PMO.
We don't name clients anywhere without their written permission. The case studies describe the shape of the work instead: sector, ownership, scale, situation and result.
